  • What do I need to rent from Lynk?

    Driver Licence, SPSV Paper Licence, Proof of Insurance, No Claims Bonus Certificate (within 3 months of Issue Date if available).

  • I am looking to rent a taxi but I have no previous experience driving a taxi, will Lynk still rent a taxi to me?

    Yes, but of course it’s dependent on your insurance. Insurance on Taxi rental in Dublin is expensive so all rentals are taken on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for more information.

  • Do I get taxi work included with Lynk’s package?

    Yes! We include the Lynk app so you can avail of the most professional taxi work there is!

  • Do I have to drive the taxi in Dublin only?

    We only offer taxis for rent to drivers from the greater Dublin area.

  • Does Lynk’s taxi rental include maintenance?

    Yes, we have our own maintenance facility on site, subject to normal wear and tear. All cars are fully serviced and problems are normally fixed within a day. We normally have a spare car in reserve to offer our drivers in case of a break down.

  • Does your Taxi to rent include insurance?

    No, each quote is tailored to each individual driver. So insurance is an additional cost. However, we have great companies we work with and can help you get very good rates, which includes an added bonus of a Lynk discount on your insurance while you are working with us!

  • Are your taxi rent rates negotiable?

    We already offer very competitive rates, so no, there is no need to negotiate. Our aim is that you’ll be happy to work with us without any hassle.

  • Is the vehicle licensed as a Dublin taxi?

    Yes, we operate all over Dublin.

  • Does Lynk offer long-term taxi rentals in Dublin?

    We aim to provide the best quality taxis to rent to our drivers, so most our deals are long-term. We do have exceptions so if you’re in need, get in touch and we’ll try to help.
